In 1989, a group of enthusiastic former members of the Hingham Mothers Club of the 1970’s met at the home of Dolores Abreu to plan for a reunion. The event was a great success and the plans and ideas for a new ladies’ club were formed. The response to the reunion and the concept of a ladies' club went well beyond their expectations. The Hingham Ladies’ Club continues to thrive because so many still enjoy the opportunity to get together for social occasions and other mutual interests.
